There’s always something exciting happening at our school! Each year is packed with special events, celebrations, and activities that bring our whole community together. From our lively sports days and creative arts showcases to themed dress-up days, concerts, and school camps, there’s never a dull moment.

A year at our school

We love when the local RFS (Rural Fire Service) visits our school! It’s always a great opportunity for students to learn about fire safety, see the fire truck up close, and ask lots of questions. The firefighters are wonderful at sharing their knowledge, and the visit helps our school stay connected with the community. The kids especially enjoy chatting with the firefighters and hearing about the important work they do to keep everyone safe.

We enjoy a range of exciting incursions throughout the year that make learning come alive! One favourite has been the JollyBops Science Incursion, where students explored how different chemicals react and discovered the fascinating world of science through fun, hands-on experiments. Experiences like these spark curiosity, encourage questions, and help students see how learning connects to the real world.

Each year, we organise a variety of excursions that give our students the chance to learn beyond the classroom and experience the world around them. A highlight was our visit to the Camden Education Environment Centre, where students stepped back in time to learn all about gold and life in the goldfields. Excursions like these help bring lessons to life, build teamwork, and create wonderful memories for everyone.

We love celebrating special events throughout the year, like our colourful Easter Hat Parade! It’s always a fun day filled with creativity, smiles, and community spirit as students proudly show off their amazing handmade hats. Events like these bring everyone together and make school life extra special.

We’re lucky to have therapy dogs visit our school every fortnight! The students love spending time with them — giving pats, reading stories, and learning how animals can help us feel calm and happy. These visits create a sense of comfort and joy around the school, supporting student wellbeing in the most heartwarming way.
